Climate Friendly Food works to encourage farming and growing practices that produce quality food, whilst sequestering carbon in the soil and plants.

We have produced the UK's most comprehensive producers carbon calculator and offer the world's first low-carbon food certification scheme. We also support farmers and growers through a demonstration farm, booklets, courses and a consumer awareness programme.

Climate Friendly Food will offer the UK's most comprehensive, free online carbon calculator for farmers and growers.

This will be launched on October 12th 2009, along with our certification scheme for low-carbon food.

The official launch of Climate Friendly Food happens on

October 12th 2009 10.00am at Schumacher College, Dartington, Devon
